Dear Prospective GFBI Conference Participants:

On behalf of the entire conference supporting group, we are sending out the second and final Call for Presentations for our 2017 GFBI International Conference to be held in Beijing China. We are going to have an exciting agenda with great strength and diversity. The two plenary sessions features keynote presentations on exceptional projects and perspectives at a global scale (see attached), whereas the concurrent technical sessions will consist presentations of unique and timely studies at various geographic scales (program forthcoming).

Our 2017 Conference is entitled “Inaugural Global Forest Biodiversity Initiative Conference & GFBI-FECS Joint Symposium 2017 – Forest Research in the Big Data Era”. Courtesy of a very generous grant from our sponsor, this conference features abundant support for GFBI members and the general public:

  • For GFBI members, all the local expenses will be covered, including lodging, meals, and city tours, etc..

Please note that the deadline for abstract submission has been extended to February 28th, 2017. One must submit an abstract by this deadline to receive monetary travel support.
