An overview of the current state of R&D within the US Forest Service
with a focus on climate change research in the northern states. Topics
that will be covered include contemporary research on experimental
forests, emerging forest monitoring science, and opportunities to leverage these
lines of forest science to address emerging societal interests such as climate change.
